Family and friends are encouraged to come support and cheer on High Plains students during their time on the track!

Step Up Your Cheering Game for the Bison Stampede!
Show your support and decorate a sign for your student!
Step 1: Get a blank sign to decorate

Option 1: Drop off $10 cash/check at the front office and a blank sign will be sent home with your student.​
​

Option 2: Purchase a sign after school by the flagpole on Sept 12, 15, or 16 (Venmo, cash, or check accepted).

Step 2: Decorate

Decorate your sign with lots of Bison spirit!
Step 3: Return to Front Office

Return your decorated sign to the front office by September 18th—and watch your student grin ear to ear when they pass their sign, rooting them on!

Click “Not Registered For This Year’s Event,” enter your information, and follow the steps to add your jogger(s).

Important Stampede Dates
Tuesday, Sept. 16 – Last day to purchase personalized signs ($10)
Thursday, Sept. 18 @ Noon – Decorated signs due to the front office
Friday, Sept. 19 –Donations due at 9a + BISON STAMPEDE DAY!
Tuesday, Sept. 23 – Inflatable Obstacle Course (grade-level prize)
Thursday, Sept. 25 –Lunch with Favorite Staff Member (for eligible prize earners)
Friday, Sept. 26 – Foam Party (for eligible prize earners)
Week of Oct. 6 – Grade-level Popsicle Party / Donuts for Breakfast (depending on totals)
Thursday, Oct. 9 – Luigi’s Game Truck + Limo & Laser Tag Adventure
The Bison Stampede
The Bison Stampede is our one-and-only all-school fundraiser—a single event that powers so many of the incredible opportunities our kids enjoy all year. On Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, students will run, walk, jump, skip, dance, or shimmy their way around the track to lively music. It’s a day that celebrates health, fun, and school spirit—all while raising critical funds for High Plains.
Families and friends are encouraged to come out and cheer!
Each student earns prizes based on donations, and all pledges are due Sept. 19 @ 9:00a.
