NOTE: All volunteers in the Thompson School District must register through the VITAL site, which includes a background check. The VITAL program invites parents and community members to share their time and talents with Thompson students by becoming approved volunteers. Whether or not you have children in the district, your involvement is valued and welcomed.

Our PTCO is all about community, support, and flexibility. Whether you can help a lot or a little, we’re grateful! Life gets busy — if you miss a meeting or need a break, we get it. Everyone is welcome, and every bit of help makes a difference.

One-Time Helpers
Can’t commit regularly? Jump in when you can — every bit counts. (Examples: put newsletters in teacher mailboxes, make copies, help load the Bison Bucks reward cart, refresh the PTCO bulletin board, and more.)
Stampede Day Support (September 19, 2025)
Be part of our biggest fundraiser of the year! From setup to cheering on the runners to handing out water, we’ll need all hands on deck.
Book Fairs
Help students and families shop our Scholastic Book Fairs — from running the registers to helping kids pick out their new favorite read.
Teacher & Staff Support
Show our educators some extra love by helping order meals, passing out coffee and goodies on special days, and supporting appreciation events.
